Valid observations but I always think it’s unfair to compare Denmark to America. My mom is Danish, and I lived in Denmark as a kid. DK really is a wonderful country, but it’s also a homogeneous culture, and that makes unity a lot easier. What makes cities like NYC great — its diversity — also makes it a challenge to navigate cultural norms.
